There are 2 different histories combined together for this class. The instructor will teach fun stories from our American Heritage as well as share information from the internet about each of our 50 states.

  1. The “I Love America” material is full of fun activities to learn about our American Heritage, from Betsy Ross and the American Flag, to studies of various Founding Fathers, to the story of Pocahontas and Jamestown.  Children also learn the basics of Constitutional government with simple charts and activities.
  2. “I Love the States of the USA” is the focus of this year’s history. Students will learn about each of the 50 states of the Union, combined with the “I Love America” stories of our American heritage.  The children color drawings in their workbook of state trees, flowers, products and flags while they learn information about each state, as well as do fun activity pages.

The manual students need for this class is the “I Love the States of the USA Student Workbook.” Parents may also want to download the CD of the “I Love America Songs.”
