Junior Numeration

Because students are on so many different levels of understanding math principles, they can choose which math book to use during class. The Numeration manual teaches basic principles and lets the students create and solve their own problems. Some students may wish to use the various other volumes to enhance their learning: Heavenly Father’s Favorite Numbers Volume 1 is addition and subtraction skills; volume 2 is multiplication and division skills; volume 3 is a study of fractions. Students who have mastered these basic skills may move on to other volumes such as decimals, percents, ratio & proportions, etc.
Teachers will guide the students during class and answer questions as they go along. Creating story problems will be emphasized each day.
