Prepare to start your year at home.

Before you begin at Kimber Academy, we highly recommend our Parent Basic Training series. This packet is intended to explain to parents as well as students why the Kimber Academy curriculum is organized the way it is, and the most effective way to teach the main core subjects. It has 7 DVD training sessions taught by Dr. Glenn J. Kimber. You can also access the same videos by clicking on “Basic Training” on the right. The videos are supplementary to the manual, so using both together is shown to dramatically increase the success of your children in the Kimber Academy System. (If you have not received your manual please contact the administration.)

This series takes about 7 hours to complete, but is well worth your time and most essential to give you the foundational tools you need to succeed in the Kimber program. 

On Location Orientation
A month before classes begin, there is a Parent and Senior Orientation night. THIS IS REQUIRED. All parents and seniors must attend. Get materials, meet teachers and get to know our new location. Don’t worry we make it fun too. Refreshments will be served.

Monthly Empowerment Sessions

We are preparing the youth of the noble birthright for this reason we want your experience at Kimber Academy to be a meaningful one. Family is the most important, and we don’t want to cut into your family commitments. All activities, events and programs are carefully planned with your family’s time and ours in mind. Parents are expected to attend our monthly parent empowering session on the last Thursday of each month. The session will begin promptly at 6:00 – 7:30 PM. Please arrive on time and be ready to participate. This is great time to offer any feedback, give comments and ask any questions you may have. Parents also find this time helpful to get to know other families in the Kimber Community.
